HMS Illustrious was a British aircraft carrier that served in the Royal Navy from 1981 to 2014. It was the second of the three Invincible-class carriers, and it played a major role in several conflicts, including the Falklands War in 1982. The ship was decommissioned in 2014 and is now used as a helicopter training and support ship by the Turkish Navy.
